Our Saturdays are now consumed with basketball. Ryan has his games in the morning, then there is the 11:00 am game for Gabs and Emmett's games are either at 4 or 5. Sometimes Ryan is playing referee at the church in between, and he is the assistance coach on both of the kids teams. The kids games are fun, they play in a league called Upward whose mission statement is "To introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports". So the program is a little different from city league ball, but the kids are having fun, and learning the game. It's been a fun program, and although some of the teachings are slightly different then our own, it's been a really good experience so far.
Gabbie's team is the Lady Cougars and Emmett is on the Tigers.
