Emmett had the opportunity to take his science fair project to a new level. He and a number of other kids from our school combined with others kids from other schools and met at the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum. The kids were to have a power point presentation ready to show the other children and adults all about the science project they had done. Emmett's was all about how to make egg substitutes for cakes. They were able to see an IMAX movie and ride simulator rides and they took a guided tour of the museum. Emmett was nervous to do his presentations but it went well and he luckily did it at the beginning of the day so he could enjoy the rest of the day without that hanging over him.
He had a fun time in the simulator until he got stuck on his side in it and it wouldn't roll back upright. They let him go on another ride when he was finally freed from the first ride.
Here Emmett is ansering questions from the audience. One lady threw him a curve ball at the end but he did a great job!

Anne, you're probably going to laugh when I tell you that watching the video of Emmett made me a little teary-eyed. It may be due to my "condition", but I just can't believe how grown up Emmett has become, and I guess I'm sad that we don't know him better. Thanks for sharing and tell him great job!
